Community Enhancement 2015: YMCA's Camp TerryNAIOP's Community Enhancement projects showcase our spirit of philanthropy and commitment to our community, drawing more than 350 NAIOP member volunteers from more than 100 companies each year.Take a trip back through 25 years of community enhancement projects, including renovation at more than 20 elementary schools, camps and child-care centers, social services organization support, and habitat restoration. In light of the life-changing role that the YMCA plays in the lives of kids and young adults, NAIOP has chosen Camp Terry as the site for the 2015 Community Enhancement Project, Oct. 3, 2015 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Located along the Raging River in Preston, WA., Camp Terry is an ideal setting for a day camp. Each year this YMCA camp welcomes hundreds of kids to participate in archery, arts and crafts, climbing walls, and much more! Camp Terry offers the fun and freedom of being outdoors while learning new skills and making new friends. Each week offers adventures that teach campers to respect and enjoy nature while having fun hiking, exploring, swimming, learning camp songs, and venturing on local field trips. Day camp will include various activities depending on the number and age(s) of the attendees such as outdoor environmental education, craft and art projects, and physical activities and challenges (games, climbing and bouldering wall, low ropes).
