Sponsorship Information

Sponsorship opportunities are available for most events. See below for a more detailed description of the sponsorships available.

Community Enhancement Project Sponsorship
The Washington State Chapter of NAIOP has received considerable regional and national recognition for its annual Community Enhancement project. This involves a daylong public service project that has drawn an estimated 250 plus volunteers each of the last few years. Over the past decade or so, projects have included work on sprucing up elementary schools, a YMCA camp, youth social service centers, a stream recovery project, a horse riding facility for the handicapped, and most recently, NAIOP took on the largest project to date with 300 plus volunteers! Work was done in painting, landscaping, and construction at the Camp River Ranch Girl Scouts facility in Carnation. Sponsors receive a section in the promotional materials, newsletter, membership directory, on signage at the event and a part in the video tape that is produced and shown at a NAIOP meeting. For a more detailed desciption of the sponsorship structure click here or contact the business office at 206.382.9121.

At each of NAIOP's eleven monthly meetings, sponsors are introduced and invited to give a 30 second introduction of their company and its personnel. Sponsorship also is recognized on screen at the event, in the meeting flyer, in the NAIOP membership directory and on the website. The cost is only $500. NAIOP has begun a new project sponsorship where a developer member can feature a specific project for five minutes at a NAIOP breakfast meeting, giving the project history, development team, features and specifications. The cost is $1,000. For information on meeting sponsorships, contact the business office at 206.382.9121

Real Estate Challenge

The 2007 NAIOP Real Estate Challenge is a competition among the students from the University of Washington, Washington State University, the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and Portland State University.
The Challenge is sponsored by professionals in the real estate and development community and is supported by the respective local chapters of the NAIOP. The competitive teams will have an opportunity to interact with industry professionals as they create a development proposal for a real-world project. The proposals will be judged by a panel that will represent a potential joint venture capital partner and the public sector land owners.
To help support these students in their drive to be the best-of-the-best in this unique course curriculum, we have developed five appropriately named sponsorship opportunities for consideration.
