NAIOP's involvement in state and local government has been successful for many years.
The efforts of NAIOP's Government Affairs Committee has played an active role in administrative and legislative processes, helping achieve favorable political and legal conditions for the Puget Sound region’s commercial real estate activities.
The Government Affairs Committee maintains and monitors political advocacy programs at both the state and local levels. The group coordinates federal government activities with NAIOP's corporate staff and communicates with the state's congressional delegation in Washington D.C.
Through NAIOP's Gavel Program, funds are raised to support advocacy efforts and the establishment of policy.
NAIOP Washington is actively working on legislation to help fund infrastructure projects. Visit site for more information.
