Cephas Partners’ Mollie Fadule and Security Properties’ Davis Vaughn Receive NAIOP’s Developing Leaders Award

NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, has recognized Mollie Fadule, co-founder and partner, Cephas Partners, and Davis Vaughn, director, Security Properties, with its prestigious 2016 Developing Leaders Award.

Fadule co-founded and serves as a partner with Cephas Partners, an independent real estate investment and advisory firm providing management and strategic advice to investors and clients. In this role, she originated and underwrote a $180 million, 1.8-million-square-foot office complex in Dallas that was acquired by The Blackstone Group. Fadule previously served as vice president in the global real estate principal investments (REPI) group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

In his current role as director on the acquisitions team with Security Properties, Vaughn focuses on apartments in partnership with institutional equity, including core-plus, value-add and opportunistic real estate. He previously served as investment manager, where he led the acquisition of approximately $500M in apartment transactions.

Fadule and Vaughn were honored before hundreds of industry colleagues at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, September 27, at NAIOP’s Commercial Real Estate Conference 2016 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Established in 2006, the Developing Leaders Award has been given to rising industry professionals from across NAIOP’s chapter network in all sectors of commercial real estate. Recipients are professionals under the age of 35 who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues and show great promise as future industry leaders.
