NAIOP Washington State Wins Chapter of the Year [Chapter News]

This morning in Washington, D.C., NAIOP Corporate named Washington State the 2017 Chapter of the Year, recognizing the overall strength of our local organization. The annual merit awards program evaluates chapter education, government affairs involvement, member recruitment and retention, communications, and chapter management.

Over the course of the year, NAIOP Washington State made significant organizational management improvements; launched a new, mobile-responsive website and a new email format and policy; increased membership and introduced new-member engagement events; and hosted or co-hosted more than 40 educational and networking events. Additionally, our PAC and Government Affairs Committee led and supported initiatives that helped promote affordable housing and transit, while avoiding excessive taxes to the business that support our economy.
