Real Estate Challenge


If you have been considering new and effective ways to promote your company’s products and services, NAIOP has an exciting and innovative opportunity to enhance the recognition of GLY to a receptive, professional, influential and international audience.

NAIOP is proud to announce the 8th Annual NAIOP Real Estate Challenge featuring dynamic teams from the University of Washington, Washington State University, and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.  The students participating from each university’s real estate program will compete from mid-January through late March to create and present a development proposal for a multi-faceted and challenging real-world project. This competition will culminate on Wednesday, March 30th in a formal presentation before NAIOP members, university representatives, a judging panel of industry leaders as well as companies like yours…our appreciated and valued potential sponsors!

To help support these students in their drive to be the best-of-the-best in this unique course curriculum, we have developed five appropriately named sponsorship opportunities for your consideration.

These tax-deductible levels are:

“Valedictorian” Event Sponsor – $10,000.00

“Summa Cum Laude” $2,500.00

“Magna Cum Laude” - $1,500.00

“Cum Laude” - $750.00

“Honors” - Up to $500.00

The past challenges, in honor of Bob Filley, were most successful and well attended by all facets of the real estate industry.  This is clearly a unique chance to highlight the great products and services your company offers by supporting a genuinely great cause; the development of these future young professionals in the commercial real estate industry through the 8th Annual NAIOP Real Estate Challenge. The teams battle vigorously for the prize and prestige that comes with victory.  The Washington State NAIOP chapter supports both the UW and WSU students in this endeavor.

Valedictorian ‘Event’ Sponsor ($10,000.00 - Benefits & Recognition)

Summa Cum Laude Sponsors ($2,500.00 - Benefits & Recognition)
