The NAIOPWA Diversity & Inclusion College Fellowship Program is a resource for college students who interested in commercial real estate in the Puget Sound region. The program is a platform for students of diverse ethnicities, genders, abilities and sexual orientations to interact more closely with NAIOP, to connect with peers and to experience the breadth of the CRE industry. By providing an additional resource for member companies and student members, we aim to enhance college students' summer experiences and bring them together with other college students from diverse backgrounds. The more we can enhance the student experience, the more likely young leaders are to seek full-time employment in the industry.

During the program, participating students will meet four times with D&I Committee members to discuss their career goals, learn about job opportunities in CRE, hear from CRE professionals, and develop deeper connections with industry professionals and their peers. Due to Covid-19, these meetings may be virtual if public health guidelines require.

Companies may nominate prospective fellows (students may also self-nominate) during April and May, and a selection process will determine the final class of participants. Fellows must commit to attending all four events unless pardoned otherwise.
