Join fellow Developing Leaders for a unique evening of networking with one of our industry’s leading business professionals, A-P Hurd, President of SkipStone, a consulting firm that provides services to private and public clients.

A-P is the former president of Touchstone, a real estate development company that built nearly 3M SF of office, retail, hotel and residential space between 2007 and 2017 and won the national Developer of the Year award in 2016. A-P is also a faculty member and Runstad Fellow in the College of Built Environments at the University of Washington, where she teaches a course on land economics and public policy.  She is on the Executive Committee of the Seattle Chamber Board and co-chairs the Chamber’s Policy Leadership Group. She is also on the boards of the Pacific Real Estate Institute and of CityBldr, a tech company that uses big data to unlock opportunities for housing development. She was the 2014 president of NAIOP Washington, has worked on numerous urban policy initiatives at the state and local level and has received several awards for her work including the Better Bricks Advocate award and the Puget Sound Business Journal's "40 under 40" award and the "Biznow Power 60" award. In 2012, A-P published The Carbon Efficient City with the University of Washington Press.
