Community Enhancement 2017: Farmer Frog  

Farmer Frog, a sustainable, educational farm in Woodinville, turns underutilized sites into environmentally sound, food-producing farms and gardens, providing a learning environment for students and families to grow food for themselves and their community. Farmer Frog’s long-term goal is to become a model to help other communities replicate their methodology.

This project will be the catalyst to help them become a self-sufficient organization.

Event details: 

• Saturday, September 30, 2017 | 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Farmer Frog is located at 23210 Paradise Lake Rd., Woodinville, WA 98077
• Please park at The Church at Maltby, 9322 Paradise Lake Road, Snohomish, WA 98296. A shuttle will take volunteers to the farm work site. Note: The Woodinville-Duvall Road will be partially to fully closed this weekend. Please make sure to map your route in advance.

Volunteers of all ages are welcomed and encouraged to participate. Projects at all skill levels will be ready for anyone willing to work! Plus, YMCA will again provide day camp activities for children on-site. Click here to download and print the YMCA day camp form in advance.  

Registration is optional, but will help give us a head count. Bring your families, co-workers and clients. All volunteers are welcome on September 30!
