Dana Kimble, Assoc. DBIA, is a Business Development Manager with Coffman Engineers, a multidiscipline engineering firm that serves as both a prime and sub consultant for clients in various markets including industrial, retail, government, healthcare and institutional. Founded in Bellevue 1979, Coffman now has 12 offices with 465 employees that serve clients across the U.S. and overseas. Disciplines include: Mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, fire protection, and corrosion control engineering, as well as commissioning and testing and balancing services.

How long have you been with your company?

What would you be doing if you weren't in commercial real estate?
Building a bunker on a ranch in Montana.

What do you like best about your industry?
I like working in the A/E/C community because of the people. The process of building long-term client relationships, competing for work, and developing the teams to deliver the work is dynamic and extremely rewarding.

What advice would you give to someone just starting out in our industry?
Attend events, meet people, be genuine and never stop learning.

What's an interesting or unusual fact that most of your fellow NAIOP colleagues probably don't know about you?
