SEATTLE – Announced at NAIOP Washington State’s September Breakfast, the slate of competitors for the association’s annual Night of the Stars Awards once again showcases the best commercial real estate development projects across the state completed in the past year. With the announcement, People's Choice voting begins online and runs through Weds., Oct. 6

Vote for People's Choice!

The projects, and the developers who engaged them, demonstrate the flexibility and ingenuity of the CRE community. Additionally, NAIOPWA’s 2023 Night of the Stars finalists highlight important strides made in sustainable development, unique historical renovation, and a continued commitment to world-class development in the Greater Puget Sound area.

The first winner of 2023 speaks to the striking and impressive development projects among the 58 finalists:

High Rise Residential Development of the Year: The Ivey on Boren is a 406-unit residential tower with 55,900 square feet of office and 7,400 square feet of college facilities for Cornish College of the Arts.  Combining a unique mix of residential, educational, cultural, and commercial uses, The Ivey embodies and celebrates its unique place in the City, collaborative relationship with Cornish College of the Arts, and its namesake William Ivey, a former student and abstract expressionist.  The site is the cornerstone of an urban college campus, the terminus of a green street, an emerging residential neighborhood, and on the edge of the migrating commercial core.

View all finalists in the Night of the Stars finalists’ gallery, and don’t forget to vote for the 2023 People’s Choice Award! Individuals may vote once per day for the project they believe represents best-in-class development starting today and through Wednesday, Oct. 6.

Winners will be announced at NAIOPWA’s annual Night of the Stars Gala on Friday, Nov. 3, hosted at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. Learn more about Night of the Stars 2023.
