Dealmaker Tyler Barth, Kilroy Realty Corporation

Tyler Barth currently leads the investment team in the Pacific Northwest and Bay Area for Kilroy Realty, NAIOP’s 2020 Developer of the Year. In addition to a focus on strategic acquisitions and dispositions for the Company, he also assists with short and long-range planning around Kilroy’s ~9M SF portfolio of office and life science assets across the two regions. Prior to joining Kilroy in 2018, Tyler was a Vice President and led the Pacific Northwest Real Estate Advisory Group for Duff and Phelps where he focused on valuation and consulting for large institutional owners including Blackstone and Starwood.

During his time at Kilroy, Tyler has been directly involved in over $815M of purchase and sale activities. He also assisted with the lease-up and stabilization of Kilroy’s 333 Dexter project which is currently 100% leased to a Fortune 50 Technology Company. Active involvement in Seattle’s industry groups has been a focus for Tyler, who served on ULI’s Young Leaders board and currently volunteers as a NAIOP member. He has been honored by Globe Street magazine as a “Top 50 Under 40” recipient nationally, and sits on Kilroy Realty’s Investment Committee.

A graduate of St. Olaf College in Minnesota, Tyler enjoys spending time on the lake and in the mountains with his wife and two daughters, and sharing stories about growing up in Montana with anyone who will listen to him.
