Mentors: NAIOP members with 10 or more years of real estate experience and the desire to mentor are encouraged to sign up.
Mentees: NAIOP members just starting their careers are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this program.

About NAIOP Washington State's Mentor Program
The NAIOP mentorship program matches up young professionals and students with seasoned industry veterans for informal, monthly meetings to share ideas, discuss professional development and talk real estate in a casual atmosphere.
One ongoing mentor says:

"The advantage of this program for a real estate professional such as me is that I get to interact and network with a broader range of individuals from the real estate and development community. I see mentoring as a means of recruiting talent to our industry and fostering an exchange of perspectives from the next generation of industry professionals."

The time commitment is just an hour per month, and the benefits for both mentors and mentees can be quite substantial. Monthly meetings run January through June, beginning with a kick-off event January 16 and moving on to one-on-one meetings.
